Harmony Avenue

Where great music always has a home.

About

My name is Brandon. I’ve been blogging for a while (over on Blogger), but I decided to start Harmony Avenue as an opportunity for me to share my love of music with the Internet world. I’m passionate about music, and I want that to come through in these posts.

So who is Brandon exactly? I’m 20 years old, I live in Arizona (mainly on Harmony Avenue, which is the inspiration for my blog name) and I’ll be leaving on a mission for my church to Peru at the beginning of May. I finished my freshman year, taking care of my generals mostly, at BYU in Provo, UT, back in April 2010. I’m planning to major in music, with a vocal emphasis. I’ve been singing for a while, and I’ve also been playing piano for about 12 years (I’m great at sight-reading but my piano skills aren’t perfect yet), and organ for a year and a half. I’ve also been composing my own music for a few years.

You can find me on Twitter here. (You can also click on one of my tweets on the side of the main blog page, which should take you to my Twitter feed as well.) I also have a Tumblr, though right now it’s not getting much use. Feel free to shoot me a line (through the comments, Twitter, Tumblr, or what have you) if you want to know more about me/think I’m cool/crazy/etc. And as always, thanks for reading! :)
